Hard work definitely pays off at Annexio as we found out when we interviewed two of our recently promoted staff members: Jink and Lisa.
Head of Player Acquisition
Jink, has earned a promotion to the position of Head of Player Acquisition. He will now be responsible for all areas of player recruitment across all platforms, Paid Search, Social, Affiliate plus new channels etc.
Jink has a 12 year background ranging
from Customer service, Sales, Operations and Digital Marketing. He has been with Annexio for nearly 3 years and brings 8 years of Digital marketing knowledge with him into his new role.
Driven by the love to learn, even after years in the industry, Jink is keen to find out something new everyday. "Digital marketing is evolving rapidly and there's always new technology & new marketing tactics!"
Jink says he plans to "further optimise the marketing channels that we are already using, ensuring maximum Return on investment for the business and also looking for new channels to promote our brand."
Head of HR
Lisa, has earned a promotion to the position of Head of HR. This step up is in recognition of the great start she has made to her career at Annexio and the increased responsibility she has taken on in all aspects of her role.
Lisa has worked in Human Resources at a senior level for 12 years, starting in Manufacturing, moving into Life Assurance and then Radio Broadcasting!
Over this period, Lisa has gained her Chartered Institute of Personnel (CIPD) and Institute of Leadership (ILM) qualifications.
When offered a position with Annexio back in August 2018, Lisa knew the company was destined for great things and she could really make a difference. Her time with Annexio to date has been challenging and exciting with many changes so far. However, shes not done yet, there is more to come as we continue to experience rapid growth, in particular going live in Jersey. "Its an exciting time for us all!"
HR will be working closely with the leadership team to mould our business to get the best out of our people, this will include the introduction of a new performance appraisal process and smartening up existing procedures to meet the business demands, watch this space!
Lisa said "the HR teak pride themselves on being an open-door HR department which is a method I have held since commencing in the profession back in 2007, we hope all employees feel they can come to us with any matter they need to discuss.
