Annexio ventures out with Beach Buddies

The Annexio team ventured out with Beach Buddies on a mission to clean the beaches of Douglas and prevent the damage caused by pollutions of the seas and beaches.

Did you know - Every 20 small scraps of litter picked up, saves a bird’s life.

Our wildlife is significantly impacted by the millions of tonnes of plastic and marine litter. It can be life threatening for birds as they accidentally consume the plastic found on beaches. Just one hour with Beach Buddies can save many of their lives.

At a glance, it was difficult to see what impact our small group could make in doing our part, but we certainly surprised ourselves leaving with both our litter bags and charitable hearts full. We hope you see you again soon, Beach Buddies!
