Former PokerStars General Counsel Paul Telford joins Annexio

Former PokerStars general counsel Paul Telford joins Annexio as its General Counsel at a time of expansion as it grow its business in multiple markets.

Managing director Jennifer Houghton said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul at an exciting time for Annexio. His background and experience will help guide us through our current period of development as we bring our products to an ever increasing international customer base.”

Telford joins Annexio with more than 17 years’ experience in iGaming, having previously served as general counsel to PokerStars and assistant general counsel to PartyGaming. He started his career at London magic circle law firm Allen & Overy advising both operators and financial institutions interested in the new sector of online gaming. After a short stint at PartyGaming, he joined the board of PokerStars, advising the business until its sale to Amaya. In 2012, he was named in the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 most talented, innovative and inspiring people working in online gaming.
